We are recruiting a part-time employed stylist for 12 planned hours a week, at £14.50–£15.00 an hour plus service and retail commission. Level 3 Hairdressing is required.
The planned recruitment hours are Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday. Our current public salon opening hours remain unchanged.
Wednesday 5:30pm–8:30pm
Thursday 5:30pm–8:30pm
Sunday 10:00am–4:00pm
Additional hours may become available as your column develops, with the potential to progress into a larger or full-time role.
Apply for this roleWe need a Level 3 qualified stylist who can carry out consultations, cutting, colouring and styling independently, keep to appointment times and work with the team.
The role is intended to develop evening and Sunday appointments. Additional hours depend on client demand, performance and agreement, rather than a guaranteed increase.
Our clients visit Esther Alexander for a broad range of hair services.
You do not need to specialise in every service.
We are particularly interested in stylists with clear technical strengths who want to continue developing them.

Progression is based on performance, client demand and mutual fit rather than simply time served.
Esther Alexander is based at 205 Kingston Road in Ewell.
